WagePerks is a tool for managing people. We expect it to be used in good faith. This policy describes what you can and can't do on the platform.
It forms part of our Terms of Service. Breach can result in suspension or termination of your account.
Things you can do
- Manage your team's HR records, leave, rotas, documents and benefits in line with your employment relationship with them.
- Invite colleagues you have authority to invite, with the correct permission level.
- Export your own data at any time.
- Use the API to integrate with your other systems (where you have the appropriate plan).
Things you must not do
Misuse
- Use WagePerks to do anything illegal under UK law (including the Computer Misuse Act 1990, the Equality Act 2010, and employment law generally).
- Hold personal data on the platform that you don't have a lawful basis to hold.
- Use the platform to harass, discriminate against, or unlawfully surveil employees.
- Use the GPS / geofencing features to track staff outside of working hours or beyond what's strictly necessary for time and attendance.
- Add fictitious employees to inflate the seat count for any purpose other than legitimate test setup (and only with our written permission).
Security
- Try to break the platform's security controls, reverse-engineer it, or access data you're not authorised to access.
- Use brute-force, credential-stuffing or automated tools against the login endpoint.
- Run penetration tests against production without prior written agreement (we welcome responsible disclosure — see below).
- Knowingly upload malware, exploit code, or content designed to harm other users.
Abuse of the voucher marketplace
WagePerks is the seller of every voucher purchased on the platform; we do not hold customer money, we do not operate a wallet, and we sell at a single retail price (see Terms §6). The reseller framing only works if everybody plays it straight, so:
- Don't resell vouchers commercially on secondary marketplaces (eBay, Reddit, dedicated reseller sites). One-off gifting between people you know is fine; running a side hustle is not.
- Don't pay with someone else's payment instrument without their authority.
- Don't recall, reverse or chargeback a Faster Payment for a voucher you have already received and used.
- Don't place orders you don't intend to pay for, to consume our order-reference space or load-test our systems.
- Don't try to claim back delivered, used vouchers as "fraudulent" — once delivered and viewed, the gift code has commercial value to whoever holds it.
- Don't try to circumvent the wholesale-supplier relationship by approaching Tillo or any underlying retailer directly, claiming a contractual relationship with them that doesn't exist.
Communication
- Use the platform to send unsolicited marketing.
- Spoof someone else's identity in invitations or messages.
- Use the "Talk to us" form or info@wageperks.com mailbox for purposes other than genuine sales/support enquiries.
What happens if you breach
If we believe you're in breach, our typical response is:
- Contact you to discuss and give you a chance to fix it.
- If the breach is serious or repeated, suspend the affected functionality or the account.
- For sustained or wilful breach, terminate the account under section 13 of the Terms of Service.
For genuinely serious cases (e.g. evidence of fraud, harassment, or illegal use), we may suspend immediately and only investigate after.
Responsible disclosure
If you find a security vulnerability, please report it to security@wageperks.com. We'll acknowledge within 48 hours, investigate, and credit you publicly if you'd like. We won't pursue legal action against good-faith security research provided you don't access data beyond what's needed to demonstrate the issue.
Reporting abuse
If you see something that breaches this policy — including content posted by another user on the same employer account — email info@wageperks.com. We'll investigate within one UK business day.
Changes
We may update this policy. The current version is WP-AUP-2026-05, effective 11 May 2026.
